History has never tasted so good…
What a feast and enjoyment – 13 chefs from the Konzil hotel had invited guests, and over 500 gourmets enjoyed the enticing, refined evening at the Konzil in Konstanz.
In commemoration of the Council of Constance from 1414 to 1418, the Council Chefs served modified Council dishes, using ingredients and, in some cases, recipes from medieval cooks. The guests were delighted: "History has never tasted so good!" – The small after-party with colleagues also focused on hearty fare: Jürgen Veeser brought his homemade farmhouse bread, and homemade liverwurst, bratwurst, black pudding, and Meckatzer sausage provided the beer. – Many thanks to all participants; it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and the guests' enthusiastic applause called for a repeat performance next year. With the Council Chefs' commitment, you can already look forward to it…
We were there and served our specialty brandies to the participants.
