The best that can come from little fruits
Stock market prices are anything but a source of joy for investors, many of whom are questioning the safety of their savings. And at precisely this moment, business journalist Michael Brückner publishes a book entitled "Nobel Drinks – Fine Spirits: From Pleasure to Investment". In nearly 200 pages, the author presents the most important spirits, as well as vintage champagnes and port wines. In each chapter, he explores whether the respective product truly seems suitable as a long-term investment, or whether immediate enjoyment would be more sensible. Brückner focuses on the world-renowned brands that are indispensable in any bar around the globe. But—and this is what makes the book so recommendable—he also sought out hidden gems, the spirits of ambitious and uncompromisingly quality-oriented distillers. He found one in Lindau-Bodolz. "Robert Gierer's spirits are absolute high-end products and could prove to be the rising stars in top restaurants. Some of the leading gourmet establishments have already recognized the potential of these spirits," says Michael Brückner. He recently presented Robert Gierer with a freshly printed copy of his book—and together they toasted to a truly enjoyable drinking and reading experience. "The best thing that can come from little fruits," praised the author.
Michael Brückner (www.redaktion-brueckner.de) also runs the exclusive online magazine www.luxus-momente.de. The book is published by Orell Füssli and is available in every bookstore or from Robert Gierer for €24.80.
